Quality Taste vs Standardization

Quality Taste vs Standardization

Since ancient times our ancestors took pride in the art of fine wine making. Today pretty much everyone knows that when it comes to wine, quality makes a huge difference. Just what is it that improves the wine quality? It is well known amongst wine makers, that soil type, pH, weather, climate, length of growing season, seed stock, harvest time, and the grower’s knowledge, among other factors all determine the ultimate quality of that wine. This is also why a standardized wine like “Ripple” for example will always taste the same, but will never have the quality of other wines grown, harvested and bottled in the traditional way. “Standardization” causes a huge loss in quality, because according to Jon Barron, Master Herbalist, Read the rest of this entry »

The new biology!

The new biology!

In former posts we spoke about how scientists have probed down into the cells of man and animals to try to understand more about this life.   What they have been learning is amazing them.   We have been taught for the past 50 years, that we are more or less subject to our DNA.  I hear all the time “oh, I will probably end up with arthritis” or “diabetes runs in my family; I will probably get it, too”.  I have even heard someone say he expects he will get cancer, because it is in his genes.  Well, it sure seems like people think they are at the mercy of their genes.  I am sooooooo happy to have learned, folks,  that according to the new epigenetics (which means “above” genetics) that DNA really doesn’t dictate our health.  Infact, it only determines how the embryo develops, but once that embryo becomes a fetus, it is the environment that determines  Read the rest of this entry »

PostHeaderIcon Its a Wonderful Life!

It IS a wonderful life! It's all about Your Perceiption!

It IS a wonderful life! It's all about Your Perception!

If you read the last post, we were discussing some pretty amazing, earth shaking, life changing precepts arriving along with the new discoveries in science.  I was saying how Dr. Bruce Lipton,  an epigeneticist involved in stem cell research since the 60’s, is so excited about his discoveries that he reminds me of a kid.  I have an audiobook of him and I must say, I love  listening to people who are so filled with the joy of discovery that it overflows from them.  I feel the same way myself.  I can’t help it.  Read the rest of this entry »

PostHeaderIcon The New Biology: Your Textbooks are Outdated

the-wisdom-of-your-cells-by-bruce-h-lipton-phdIn our last post I spoke about the complexity of nature.  It seems the further down into the interior of  our being we go, or the further out in space we go, either way we discover more complexity than we had ever thought possible.  Scientists have been studying DNA for over 50 years and have been so enamored with their research into the double helix that they were cutting away the surrounding material and throwing it away to get at their closely sheathed treasure.  Read the rest of this entry »

PostHeaderIcon Welcome, Friends, to Our New Blog!

11176 We’ve been silent long enough. Now it is time to share all the amazing things we have been learning. What are we here for but to live, learn, love, and share the joy of discovery with others. They say the pen is mightier than the sword. So be it. Now I am setting pen, well, I guess I better say web code, to paper, or rather computer screen, to open what I hope will be a new understanding for those who are interested.
